The historic bridge of Prizren and the surrounding landscape are lovingly painted in the style of the Impressionists. Colors and shapes imply an idyllic place where one feels at home. The pachtes of light on the river create a sense of movement and friendliness, while the arch of the bridge seems to welcome the observer with open arms. The darker colors of the mountains in the background anchor the fluidness of the water and the gracefulness of the bridge and convince us of the realness of this place. An hommage of the artist to his homeland and to a place that he still feels connected to.
